  • Compustat Full University Subscription     
    Provides access to comprehensive financial data of up to 480 items per year adjusted for accounting differences. Covers 21,000 companies of which 11,000 are currently in business. Via WRDS.
  • Compustat Global     
    Provides authoritative financial and market data covering publicly traded companies in more than 80 countries, representing over 90% of the world's market capitalization. Via WRDS.
  • CRSP/COMPUSTAT Merged Database     
    CRSP and Compustat data with the link and link-history references between these two databases. It includes S&P's Compustat data, reformatted into CRSP's proprietary CRSPAccess format. Via WRDS.

The Compustat databases are available on WRDS (Wharton Research Data Service)

UF Faculty, PhD students and Masters students can request an account on WRDS (Wharton Research Data Service). Follow these steps:

  1. Go to WRDS
  2. Select "account request"
  3. Select "request a user account"
  4. Select the appropriate "account type"
  5. Fill out and submit the form
  6. You will receive an email after your request is approved with login instructions.

Note: Faculty may request an account for their undergraduates.
